Welcome to Pets4Homeopathy's Featured Rescue and Animal Welfare page. Thousands of Pets across the country are in need of rescue & adoption from kill shelters, and adoption from rescue organizations and their foster homes. Please consider adopting your next furkid from a shelter or rescue organization. Pets are warm and loyal, loving companions that are not disposable. On this page we will feature an adoptable pet, sometimes more than one, to help some of our rescue and foster friends have more visibility on furkids that are ready to go to a forever home.

"POW" or "Pal" Young Female Boxer, Location: Greensboro, NC
Updated: 12-14-2005
This little Boxer girl is approximately 9 months old. She had a collar that broke that was almost embedded into her fur; she still bears that "brand” but now wears only the best money can buy: Lupine harness and lead. She needs it b/c she is very very very strong. She was found tied to a tree without food or water. But that hasn't stopped her big heart from loving.
I have been fostering this boxer for about 3 weeks and she is a joy to be around. Unfortunately I have 4 other elderly dogs and 5 cats of varying stages. Illnesses and territorial issues in my home make it difficult for me to keep this high-energy dog. She is “almost” house broken, is a love muffin and even goes into her crate now with out fear or loathing. I will be sad to see her go but she needs a lot more exercise and outdoor time than we can give (we live in a 1100’ condo). Her name is POW (short for P.O.W.) or “Pal” for those who may be offended by her name. She comes complete with a Gund teddy bear named “Jerome” (from my college days) and her own set of shiny metal bowls. She is spayed and is otherwise in excellent condition. All she needs now is LOVE, LOVE and a little patience and more love!We prefer a home that is familiar with this breed. Peace! What else can I tell you except that I will miss my heating pad? :)
